In August 2023, Hunan Iron and Steel Group's Liangang Cold Rolled Silicon Steel Phase I One Step Project held a grand production celebration ceremony, and Shanghai Tongzhu Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to participate. Zou Wenhui, Secretary of the Loudi Municipal Party Committee, and Zeng Chaoqun, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Li Jianyu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman, and General Manager of Hunan Iron and Steel Group; Yan Lixin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Director, and General Manager of Liangang, attended the event.

The completion and operation of the Liangang silicon steel project marks a crucial step forward in the construction of the "Material Valley" in the central region of Loudi. It is of great significance to adjust, optimize and upgrade the product structure of Lianyuan Iron and Steel, enhance brand competitiveness, and accelerate the construction of a world-class enterprise by Hunan Iron and Steel Group. It will also contribute to the construction of the largest silicon steel production base in Loudi City, help the province build an advanced manufacturing highland, inject strong new momentum, and enhance new vitality for development.

Liangang is an important customer of Shanghai Tongzhu Chemical. From 2021 to 2023, Shanghai Tongzhu Chemical won the bid for the coke oven gas hydrogen production system for three consecutive years, and is a qualified supplier and general contractor for Liangang's public auxiliary system hydrogen production equipment. The completion and operation of the Liangang silicon steel project has enabled Shanghai Tongzhu Chemical to produce the hydrogen gas required for the silicon steel reaction with high quality and high standards. The hydrogen assisted project has been successfully put into operation. During this period, the Shanghai Tongzhu Chemical team overcame numerous difficulties such as tight construction schedules and rainy season construction, and continuously optimized the existing technology, paying close attention to details to ensure the safe, reliable, and stable operation of the hydrogen production system.
